Therefore I pointed out to you that there are some of us (many I suspect) who don't accept that climate change is human induced, because we consider that idea to be irrational and unscientific. We consider that climate change happens all the time, and that what has been observed in recent decades is fairly mild compared to what has happened over e.g. the last 800 years, and it has nothing to do with human activity.MichaelAnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3915617830446943975.post-45599679068375970452015-01-22T18:52:08.061+13:002015-01-22T18:52:08.061+13:00Yes, MichaelA, it makes perfect sense to me that p...Yes, MichaelA, it makes perfect sense to me that people who write sentences like, “Some of do not accept that…” do not accept that.

Blessings

Boscoliturgyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11822769747947139669noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3915617830446943975.post-24209351982941125632015-01-22T13:50:35.980+13:002015-01-22T13:50:35.980+13:00Bosco, you appear to be assuming that climate chan...Bosco, you appear to be assuming that climate change is human influenced.

Some of do not accept that, not because of any theological position, but because we are rational creatures, i.e. we think there is plenty of reason to believe otherwise. God bless your mission and ministry on the web.

Like you, I am concerned about our summer being yet another pointer to climate change - but I'm not as quick to point the finger at atheists. Christians, especially those who can't be bothered with this planet because they are so certain Jesus will return soon, and/or who have a particular reading of Genesis texts, are, IMO, equally, and often more responsible for the human contribution to climate change than secular atheists.

Blessings

Bosco
www.liturgy.co.nzliturgyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11822769747947139669noreply@blogger.com
