Its sometime said in the course of the debate that dare not speak its name that God made Adam and Eve not Adam and Steve. But we can exclusively reveal here that Steve was there in the Garden of Eden, for 'Steve' is the real name of the temptor. This hitherto undisclosed exegetical insight relies on the 'typology' in the story, which is speaks to every age. The tempting fruit, which technically is never described as a particular fruit, is popularly understood to be an apple. In our generation this is
the apple. Thus the temptor's name is
Steve!
