Dear Readers,
I am very happy to draw to your attention a Kiwi site I have learned about this week.
It is called Connectible and is found here.
Produced and maintained by the Diocese of Dunedin, it offers resources for (lectionary based) Sunday worship with a special flavour towards connecting with children and families in worship.
Have a look!
Bookmarked! Thanks Peter!

Oy vey! 24 hours, one comment about 'Connectible' (which, by the way, is a superb site, and as a parish priest who gives a children's talk every Sunday, I need all the help I can get in this area!), and twenty-two on the previous article about how we deal with 'that subject'. We Anglicans do love to talk about sex!

Maybe, you're right Tim - apropos your final remark; sadly though, its usually about other people's misuse of this God-given faculty.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for this link, Peter!
ReplyDeleteAn excellent site.
Please tell me where the links are to this website - for example from the Dunedin Anglican diocesan webpage, or from the facebook page...
A website (or a church service) may be great - but not so useful if no one can find out about it...
Why is this so hard for our church to understand?
I'm hoping sincerely that someone can prove me wrong and present a myriad of links to this site.
Blessings
Bosco
Hi Bosco
ReplyDeleteThere is a link here: http://www.strandz.org.nz/lectionary.html [Strandz is the site of Tikanga Pakeha Children and Families ministry].
Thanks, Peter.
ReplyDeleteYou mean the the website that gets the well-known name of our church wrong ("Anglican Church of New Zealand")?
And you are serious - with all our church's websites, facebook pages, and even-paid media and news outlets, you can find one reference to it in our church?!
Blessings
Bosco
