Thanks to the work of others, I bring you two videos which remind us that God is at work in our world. Jesus died and rose again some 2000 years ago but the God of resurrection continues to bring new life to people!

Thought-provoking videos thank you. The speaker in ‘The Quiet Revival’ mentioned the phrase ‘the patient ferment of the early church’ which is actually the title of a book about the growth of the early church.
They didn’t evangelise and didn’t even attempt to do it in modern terms. They just lived a very different lifestyle and kept their services sacred and not available to those who didn’t believe until they had learnt what it meant. There was a long preparation time for a commitment to baptism and joining with the community of believers.
And the church grew!
How we translate that into our lives is challenging. Brennan Manning in ‘The Wisdom of Tenderness’ talks of ‘the discipline of the secret’ and suggests we are too quick to speak of things that might not be understood and therefore are dismissed without exploration.
It’s a thought!
